New Bedford Woman Arrested on Drug Charge, Warrants
NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford woman is arrested after police recognized her as having several outstanding warrants.
Patrol officers responded to 40 Bullard Street, Apt. #1N, in New Bedford at 5:54 p.m. on Tuesday to speak with a separate party.
While at the address, officers recognized a woman in the apartment, Lisa McGonagle, 23, of that address, and knew she had several outstanding warrants for her arrest. As police were notifying McGonagle of the warrants, they noticed a small amount of suspected crack cocaine in her possession.
McGonagle was arrested for possession of a Class B drug (subsequent offense), and three outstanding warrants.
