New Bedford Police Investigating Shots Fired in West End

NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — New Bedford Police are investigating an incident of shots fired in the city’s West End early this morning.

According to New Bedford Police, patrol officers responded shortly after midnight today to the area of Willow Street and Bullock Street for a ShotSpotter activation.

Upon arrival, officers determined shots had been fired, and there was damage to a residence as well as a nearby vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Police said detectives are investigating further.
