NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — New Bedford Police are investigating an early-morning shooting that occurred in the city’s South End early Sunday and left three men with injuries.

According to police, officers responded at about 2 a.m. on August 11 to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 110 County Street.

Upon arrival, officers located two adult men suffering from gunshot injuries that were not life-threatening. A third adult man arrived at St. Luke’s Hospital, also with a gunshot injury that was not life-threatening.

Detectives were called to the scene, and police said that investigation is ongoing at this time.
