A  New Bedford kindergarten teacher showed students how to safely play on new playground equipment and it's the cutest thing you will see today.

It goes without saying that our SouthCoast teachers are some of the best in the country and so many of them go above and beyond for our youth.

We know that the learning that goes on in the classroom is important, but many teachers go the extra mile.

To ensure students at the Rodman Elementary School knew how to safely use a newly-installed playground equipment, Ms.Magalhaes demonstrated it herself and appeared to be having a good time while doing so.

This video is a reminder to all of us just how important and special our SouthCoast teachers are.

This teacher is not afraid to get her hands dirty to make sure she leads and teaches by example. Throughout the school year, teachers all across the area continue to evolve their curriculum to make sure our youth are full prepared for anything life throws at them.

Here's hoping this teacher didn't pull anything while demonstrating, because if you happen to have a little one and have taken them to the playground at all, you know how these things were definitely not made for adults to use.

We get it, you just can't help yourself, we all want to slide down the slide and relive our youth but resist the urge, unless you're trying to show kids the right way, like Ms. Magalhaes.

What's great is that they got it on video, so you don't need to demonstrate it again – just hit the "play" button.
