New Bedford School Van Driver Stabbed In Road Rage Incident

It happened Wednesday afternoon at Hemlock and Dunbar Streets in New Bedford.   The driver of a van carrying several Roosevelt Middle School students was attacked in what police are calling a "road rage" incident.

Police later arrested 19 year old Aaron Maldonado at an apartment on Rivet Street.   He reported to have a long criminal record.  The students on the van, aged 13 and 14, were not injured.  The van driver was treated at Rhode Island Hosptial.
