New Bedford Police Investigating Stabbing at Jalice Cafe

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating an apparent stabbing in New Bedford's North End.

New Bedford Police responded to a report of an injured male at Jalice Cafe, located at 1468 Acushnet Avenue, at 1:53 a.m. on Friday.

When police arrived, they determined that a male at that address had apparently been stabbed.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not disclose where the male was stabbed or if any suspects are being sought in connection to the stabbing.
