New Bedford Police Ball Had DJ Pauly D Locked In Until He Canceled
For a brief moment, the SouthCoast was about to fist-pump its way into the history books.
DJ Pauly D — Mr. Jersey Shore himself — was locked in to headline the New Bedford Police Association’s 2025 Police Ball at White’s of Westport on November 22. A done deal. Confirmed. Scheduled.
Then suddenly…he backed out.
Pauly D Pulled Out of Multiple Dates
Reportedly, Pauly D didn't just pull out of the New Bedford Police Ball, but also multiple other dates he had lined up around the same time.

Just like that, the Pauly D moment that could’ve lit up White’s like a Shore nightclub was gone.
The NBPA Landed a Massive Replacement
The NBPA scrambled and secured a new headliner: DJ Sickick.
If you’re not familiar, Sickick is no small upgrade. He’s got 15-plus-million followers online and a massive global fanbase off his viral remixes and masked on-stage persona. His visuals are wild, his mashups are insane, and he’s turned into one of the most in-demand remix artists in the world right now.

So yes, Pauly D bailed, but now the SouthCoast is getting Sickick instead. This might actually become one of those “it all worked out for the better” surprises.
The Police Ball goes down November 22 at 5:30 p.m. at White’s of Westport. Tickets can be purchased here or reach out to New Bedford Police Officer Shane Harris via Facebook.
