New Bedford On List Of Most Artistic Towns

The art scene is alive in New Bedford and now its getting national recognition.

A new list of the most artistic towns in America was released by Matador Network and New Bedford made the cut!

The site says,

The towns on this list have stood out on the American landscape for decades, and continue to reinvent their artistic communities each year."

Adding that they picked their towns based on three criteria

• The scene is still relatively small (No New York or Los Angeles).
• Emerging artists have access to a great quality of life at a low cost.
• There is a strong community of visual artists, musicians, and filmmakers

Clearly New Bedford qualifies, cause it cracked the Top 10, coming in at #9 between Detroit and New Orleans.
