If you know the Thomas family, you know they enjoy having fun.

That's why when they made a bet while playing cards a week or two before a huge Universal Studios Orlando vacation, you knew the stakes were going to be high.

What happened next was a series of events that made me:

A) jealous I'm not a member of the Thomas family

B) vow to implement this into our next extended Rock family vacation.

During the aforementioned card game, siblings Sue, Kristen and Mike Thomas agreed that the loser would wear a face painting of the other siblings' choice. The loser would wear the face paint for an entire day at Universal Studios -- all the way until bedtime.

Unfortunately for Sue, it wasn't her night at poker. She lost, and her siblings mercilessly followed through with the consequences of the wager. To her credit, Sue didn't back down for a minute. She put on a brave face and sat there as makeup artists turned her into this monster.

Sue's brother and sister breathlessly took a ton of pictures, but my personal favorites are the ones of her sitting alone, not another person within 30 yards of her, in the middle of a jam-packed amusement park. No one wanted to go near her!

"It was pretty embarrassing in the park, but leaving the park and going for dinner was way worse," said Thomas. "We went to a Golden Corral or some other all-you-can-eat buffet. There were so many people, and I had to get up and serve myself. It was terrible."

The Thomas family is upping the game when it comes to family vacation fun, and we are taking notice. I mean, how could you not?
