New Bedford DNB Burgers Now For Sale at a Slashed Price
It’s been 10 years since DNB Burgers first opened in Downtown New Bedford. The original location was established in November 2014, across the street from the building that once housed the Standard-Times operations staff. The business has since relocated to 768 Purchase Street, surrounded by many other pubs and restaurants. It's become a downtown staple.
DNB Burgers has been known for its craft burgers, great wings, and beverages—all made with local ingredients whenever possible, sometimes even farming ingredients themselves. Now, after a decade of serving up delicious food, Amelia Ruvich and Joshua Lemaire have decided to step away from the restaurant business to focus on other passions.
The husband-and-wife duo are ready to leave the restaurant industry and spend more time with their three small children. Both Amelia and Joshua are artists at heart who look forward to pursuing their creative interests. Amelia enjoys painting and gardening, while Joshua is a member of a band.
DNB Burgers will remain open during its regular hours, Thursday through Sunday, while the business is up for sale. Bold Realtor Andrew Romano revealed that, as of Wednesday, the asking price for the business has been reduced to $100,000. The price drop has sparked significant interest, according to Romano.
“One thing that made DNB special was the ownership using their talents to create their own unique menus,” Romano said.
The sale does not include the building that houses DNB Burgers but does include the name, personal property, liquor license, and leasing agreement.
