Experience the New Winter Sauna Village in Downtown Boston
Things are heating up at a new pop-up in Downtown Boston.
A Winter Sauna Village has taken over the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Rowes Wharf, and it's bringing much-needed warmth and relaxation to a cold month in New England.
It’s a unique experience that won’t be there for long. Here’s how to take advantage of it.
Where Is the Winter Sauna Village?
The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a contemporary public park in Boston run by a non-profit organization called the Greenway Conservancy.
The Winter Village hosted by Moki Sauna welcomes visitors to unwind, relax, and recharge. It offers a moment of serenity amidst an otherwise bustling city.
What to Expect at the Winter Sauna Village
The Winter Sauna Village is the work of Moki Sauna, a modern wellness experience bringing sauna and cold plunge access to urban environments.
Moki has arrived in Boston, bringing a charming and serene experience to The Greenway, complete with a cold plunge, wood-fired saunas, changing rooms, rinsing stations, and a relaxation hut with locker storage.
Guests are welcomed with towels and sandals at the Nordic-inspired reception unit. After enjoying the wood-fired sauna that can accommodate eight people at a time, the cedar plunge tub provides the perfect way to cool down. The village’s dome features lockers for personal belongings and chairs to enjoy the view. End the day in one of three individual heated rinsing stations and changing areas.
This is one of those experiences that is rarely found in the city. Find out what all the hype is about, grab your bathing suit and water bottle, and make a reservation online before the village travels on.
