Middletown Taco Bell Confuses Gazelle for ‘Jersey Shore’ Star

To the man at the Taco Bell drive-thru in Middletown, Rhode Island who confused me with Vinny Guadagnino from MTV's Jersey Shore, I'm humbled, but you might want to get your eyes checked.

If you've seen at least one episode of Jersey Shore in your life, then you already know that Vinny and I look nothing at all alike. First of all, the size comparison is completely different and Vinny has more muscle where I have more "fluff." I've had doppelgangers before in my lifetime that I would agree looked like me and vice versa, but to be confused for Vinny is a bit of a stretch.

So here I was, on my way back home from a wedding in Newport when I stopped for a quick bite at Taco Bell. I don't always eat fast food, but in this situation, I skipped dinner and was in the mood to eat just about anything that was open. In Middletown, I hit a Taco Bell and ordered myself a chicken quesadilla.

As I approached the drive-thru window to pay and collect my food, the gentleman at the counter shouted and said "Oh my God, you're Vinny from Jersey Shore!" and began to video me on his phone. I couldn't help but laugh and although I told him no, he was absolutely convinced.

I was flattered, to say the least, but also puzzled at how someone could mistakenly misidentify someone as bad as he did. I mean, just take a look for yourself and tell me if you see any resemblance, because I sure as heck don't.
