The Middleboro Park Department is hosting a “Ghost Drive” to help folks celebrate Halloween safely this month.

Head to Peirce Playground/Battis Field over the weekend of Thursday, October 22. There you will find that the Middleboro Park Department has turned the grounds into a festive Halloween haunt worthy of spooky fun for the whole family. Bring the whole zombie crew to view decorations from your car.

The kind folks over at the Middleboro Park Department have worked hard to create something special for families to celebrate safely. They’ll be displaying hundreds of Jack-o-lanterns around Battis field for your enjoyment. This event will feature spooky scenes and not-so-spooky scenes for the younger crowd. Volunteers and staff members will be dressed in costume for the occasion. Feel free to wear yours to join in the fun.

This socially distant drive-thru will take place on Thursday, October 22 from 6 to 8 pm, and 6 to 9 pm on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. “Social distancing will be followed and you will remain in your car.”

Pay just $10 per car to give your family a Halloween to remember during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Don’t be stuck home because you won't stand a ghost of a chance!” There is no pre-registration required.

Peirce Playground/Battis Field is located at 26 Jackson Street, Middleboro.
