Middleboro’s Forever Farm Celebrating Earth Day with the Animals
A local farm is celebrating Earth Day with a fun, family-friendly event in Middleboro.
The Forever Farm is a 501c3 animal sanctuary that cares for animals in need, calling it "a sanctuary for farm animals who deserve a second chance."
The nonprofit is holding its second annual Earth Day event filled with family-friendly activities.
"We will have a seed planting station, make-your-own pinecone bird feeder, and nature-inspired coloring," owner Nichole Botelho said.

Guests of all ages are welcome to attend the celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22.
Plus, Massachusetts school vacation week is this week, which allows many kids to take part in the fun. Get those green thumbs going!
This event is not only a great way to talk about the environment and immerse yourself in nature, it's also very cost effective. There's no cost for admission, however donations are greatly appreciated.
Donate to Animals in Need
Money raised from The Forever Farm Earth Day Celebration will benefit the many animals at the farm.
"All donations directly support the sanctuary animals needs including feed, hay, farrier and vet bills, just to name a few," Botelho said.

Medications, supplements, food and overall maintenance can really add up when you're caring for goats, horses, donkeys and pigs.
Donations from the Earth Day event will assist The Forever Farm "to provide shelter and organize to rescue and prevent cruelty to animals."
