Middleboro Café’s Viral Dance Craze Brews Up TikTok Fame [VIDEO]

A coffee shop in Middleboro, Coffee Milano Café, has captured TikTok’s attention with a creative campaign encouraging customers to dance for free coffee.

The café’s video, posted on Sunday, November 17, features customers grooving for five seconds to earn a complimentary drink of their choice including lattes, smoothies and more.

The clip quickly went viral, amassing over 2.3 million views in just days.

Owners Josh Rashid and Gunnar Forkbeardsson drew inspiration from a similar promotion at a pizza shop and adapted the concept for their café. A sign on their door invited patrons to participate, with a playful disclaimer about recording the antics.

Despite initial hesitancy from some customers, the event was a hit. Rashid hinted at plans to host another round of “dance for coffee” next week, keeping the exact date under wraps.

The café is also known for its extensive menu, including its signature “Sheila’s Shameless Muffins” with over 120 rotating flavors. When Fun 107 suggested calling the promotion "Shake It for Sheila," Rashid enthusiastically approved, potentially adding a new twist to future campaigns.

Located at 58 Center Street, Coffee Milano serves as a cozy spot with a diverse menu of coffee, breakfast options, and sweet treats, making it a popular local destination for solo diners and families alike. The café is open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.. offering dine-in, takeout and delivery services.
