Massachusetts Trampoline Park Recognizing Autism Awareness Month
Many places host one day of sensory sensitivity, but this month Funcity Trampoline Park in Seekonk will be Sensory Sensitive most days of the week.
The popular indoor trampoline park on Fall River Ave in Seekonk announced on Facebook that starting today, April 3, they will be operating sensory sensitive from Monday through Thursday.
All park users are welcome to be at Funcity on these days, but everything will be aimed towards making an enjoyable experience for those on the spectrum.
This means the trampolines will be the same, but the atmosphere will be quieter.
Music will be turned down, or completely off if needed, all month long every day Monday through Thursday.
No word on if sensory sensitive measures will continue past April, which is Autism Awareness Month, but for now the trampoline park is the only one we've heard of making an effort for all children to enjoy a bouncy, good time.
You can plan your visit on their Funcity website and even buy your tickets online before you go.
Jump hours Monday through Thursday are 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Kids can also use the climb wall, foam pit, battle beam and a lot more during these sensory sensitive days.
