Hodgson Blames Healey for ‘Outrageous’ Massachusetts Migrant Crisis
Trump administration border czar Tom Homan promised in February to "bring hell" to Boston, one of a handful of sanctuary cities in Massachusetts – and he wasn't kidding.
Frustrated by a lack of cooperation from local officials, Homan lashed out at Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox.
"The Police Commissioner of Boston, you said you'd double down on not helping the law enforcement officers of ICE," Homan said. "I'm coming to Boston. I'm bringing hell with me."
"You're not a police commissioner. Take that badge off your chest, put it in your desk drawer," he said. "Because you became a politician. You forgot what it's like to be a cop."
A month later, several federal agencies rounded up some 370 criminal illegal aliens in Boston. It didn't stop there.
On Monday, ICE announced nearly 1,500 arrests had been made during May "during a monthlong enforcement operation focusing on transnational organized crime, gangs, and egregious illegal alien offenders throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."
Operation Patriot netted criminal offenders "who victimized innocent people and traumatized entire communities – murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, child sex predators and members of violent transnational criminal gangs."

Former Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson, who worked closely with Homan on the immigration issue, said it won't stop there.
"I think you're going to see more happening here in Massachusetts," Hodgson said. "Massachusetts is ripe for this because of what they've created with Governor (Maura) Healey."
"We have a governor who's encouraged people to come here," Hodgson said. "This is the place you want to come to if you are ICE because the governor here has done everything she can to help these people stay in the neighborhoods, particularly the criminal illegal aliens to get cover."
"I think you're going to see Homan coming more to Massachusetts," he said.
Hodgson said Healey is responsible for the migrant crisis in Massachusetts.
"She wants to point fingers at Washington. She needs to go to a mirror and point the finger at herself," he said. "Your job is not to be working for the activist groups. Your job is to be working for the people."
"She created this and wants to turn to everyone else and claim it's their fault," Hodgson said.
Hodgson said the people of Massachusetts are "fed up with it, and they're going to do something about it this coming election."
