Staying Visible During Hunting Season

Wear brightly-colored clothing so you stand out amongst the trees. Stay on marked trails and public areas, especially during dawn or dusk when visibility is low. Respect the signs. Private property and hunting signs are there for a reason. Following them will keep you safe.

Keep Pets and Kids Safe Outdoors

Protect your kids. It's a good time to refresh the rules with your children so they can stay safe.

When walking your dog, keep them leashed and visible. If trail hikes and nature walks are your thing, make sure your four-legged friend is dressing the part, too. Reflectors and vests are great options for your pup.
