Lt. Governor To Visit State Pier

Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will be at State Pier Thursday afternoon.

A release from Mayor Jon Mitchell's office says that the reason for Polito's visit is an "Announcement in New Bedford Relative to the State Pier."

Mayor Mitchell will be in attendance along with Administration & Finance Secretary Kristen Lepore, Housing & Economic Development Deputy Secretary Carolyn Kirk, Conservation & Recreation Commissioner Leo Roy, and the State Legislative Delegation, according to the release.

The announcement is scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m.
