Sarah Potenza may not have quite made it to the live shows on The Voice this season, but she will be live in Newport later this month.

Potenza and fellow Voice alum Anita Antoinette will be taking the stage on May 14th for The Magenta Music Night at Fort Adams State Park in Newport. The show also features singer Emma Joy Galvin and is being presented by SCA at the Volvo Ocean Race Newport Stopover.

This will actually be Potenza's first visit back to her home state since appearing on The Voice and she told NBC 10 that she is super excited to come home to The Ocean State, not only to see her family but to "meet all those folks who supported this girl's dream.”

Another "only in Rhode Island" thing Potenza may enjoy checking out...the Big Blue Bug on 95 which is currently sporting gigantic white glasses as a nod to her trademark eyewear.

If you want to see Potenza perform live on May 14th, you can get more info on the show as well as tickets at RI Waterfront Events.com.
