There could be an awful lot of celebrity sightings in Rhode Island this weekend.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is getting married this Saturday to art gallery director Cooke Maroney and several celebrity sites say it is happening in Rhode Island.

But the bride's good friend Taylor Swift isn't playing hostess for this one. Nope, the "I do's" are going to be said in Newport at Belcourt Castle. And I've actually partied there myself before.

Back in the 90s, Belcourt Castle was pretty much an open-for-business mansion. And though some of the parties were better known for the amounts of alcohol at them, some were just high school kids living a quintessential high school moment.

Yeah, my junior year of high school, the senior prom was held at Belcourt Castle. The senior class chose the site because of all the haunted rumors about it, but I definitely don't remember any scary moments. Just lots of suits of armor and a golden carriage in the ballroom.

All that is likely gone now. The mansion was sold to Alex & Ani founder Carolyn Rafaelian back in 2012 and she's been busy renovating since.

Now dubbed Belcourt of Newport, the mansion is clearly still open for business since Lawrence and her fiancé have rented it for their nuptials on Saturday.

No word on the likely A-list guest list, though TMZ reports the attendees will be eating well with hors d'oeuvres like brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk and smoked pork belly with pickled apple plus main courses of wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter or five-week-aged leg of beef with forager's sauce.

There are even house-made marshmallow S'mores for dessert. Fun!

The wedding is said to have about 150 guests and I'm guessing Amy Schumer and Emma Stone are among them.
