JDFR One Walk at Buttonwood Park on Saturday, 10/17

Join in the JDFR One Walk (formerly known as the Walk to Cure Diabetes) on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford.

Southern New England has the highest population of diabetes on the East Coast and it will take the community coming together to change that. The JDFR One Walk's mission is to raise awareness and support  for those who suffer from Type 1 Diabetes. In the hopes of raising $10,000 to benefit a cure to the disease, the JDFR One Walk is free to register and includes snacks and activities for children of all ages.

Check-in for the walk begins at 9 a.m. and will commence at 10 a.m.
