Jackie Allain regretted not being able to be home on Halloween night for the kids in her Churchill Shores neighborhood in Lakeville, but one trick-or-treater left her a treat on her Ring camera.

The weather was so beautiful this Halloween that it was no surprise trick-or-treating started a bit early on Thursday evening. The sun hadn’t yet set, so it wasn’t obvious that Allain’s lights were off – typically a signal for kids to skip the house on their candy quest.

Enter a little kid dressed as one of the biggest music stars in the world right now. The child rang the Ring doorbell. When no one answered the first time, she rang the bell again and started hamming it up for the camera.

Meanwhile, Allain was receiving the hilarious alerts from her Ring camera. She sent the footage to 13 relatives to find out who the costume was supposed to be.

Her niece, Jennifer Picard from New Bedford, loved the video. They weren’t sure if the costume was for Jelly Roll or Post Malone, but quickly recognized Posty’s signature face tattoos.

“This morning, I was like, hey, this is really funny Halloween humor. We need to send this into Fun 107 so everybody else can get a kick out of it, too,” Picard said. “They have little kid neighbors who are always playing jokes, so I thought it was them at first.

It turns out, though, Allain has "no clue who this kid is.’”

Posty would be proud.
