Gnome Surf in Little Compton, Rhode Island is all about respect, kindness, and fun.

This non-profit surf therapy organization started five years ago working with about 40 families, teaching youngsters with disabilities the joys of surfing. Founder and chief instructor Chris Antao says he and his "Kind Tribe" volunteers are now working with about 2,000 families in waters off Rhode Island.

Chris Antao spoke with Townsquare Sunday this week about the amazing growth of his program and his success with youngsters diagnosed with autism.
