One Rhode Island coffee shop is offering customers free drinks for cleaning up local beaches.

If you think the beaches have too much trash floating around on them, you are not alone. And one Middletown coffee shop is hoping to do something about it.

Custom House Coffee on Aquidneck Ave in Middletown recently made customers an offer they hope they won't refuse - free coffee for a bucket of beach trash.

Simply fill a kids beach pail with trash from a local beach and exchange it at the coffee shop for a free coffee or tea.

You do need to get your bucket from Custom House Coffee and the deal is only good once per customer, but it is a great way to do some good around Aquidneck Island.

And this isn't the only way Custom House Coffee aims to be good to the environment.

The store stopped using plastic straws and even lets people bring in their own reusable cups for their beverages.

This new promotion aims to keep the beaches and oceans cleaner, all good goals if you ask me.

And it is so easy to participate.
