If you grew up in the city of New Bedford and the surrounding towns, you know the name Gary's Best. For 30 years, owner Joe Franco and his family have dedicated their lives towards one thing, customer service and appreciation for their customers.

It's great when you hear good news about New Bedford, especially businesses that have thrived through the thick and thin. City Councilors At Large David Alves, Brian Gomes, and Ward One City Councilor Jim Oliveira were on hand to give Joe Franco a citation for his incredible 30 years of business with Gary's Best Hot Dogs in the North End.
