It's the buzzword of the month. Everyone who's anyone is going socially distant.

In all seriousness, we are taking the coronavirus threat very seriously. At Fun 107, we firmly believe that the stricter we adhere to keeping ourselves quarantined, the risk that we will become ill drastically falls. The more that our community as a whole practices popular discipline when it comes to "social distancing," the quicker we will be back to resuming our normal lives.

The best thing you can do to help out your favorite local restaurant or small business is to practice social distancing the best that you can. Of course, you'll need to leave your home to get essentials and to go to work (if you are unable to work at home), but make it a point to come into contact with as few people as possible throughout each day. The more physically isolated you can be, the better. Thankfully, we have modern technology which will really make this so much easier.

We have been working with our engineering department for the past two weeks preparing for this moment. All of our on-air personalities are now going to be broadcasting from their individual homes. We started a few days ago by having Nancy and Jackson join Kayla Thomas by shifting their shifts away from the Fun 107 studios to home studios.

The experiment went quite well, so we decided to take the leap and broadcast The Rock and Fox Show from three different locations. That is something that we have never attempted, but thanks to modern technology, we are able to pull it off.

Please bear with us as we attempt to do something new. I'm sure this will be sloppy at times, but we are looking forward to getting back to our studios as quickly as possible. Social distancing is the quickest way back.
