Dozens of Dogs Seized from Massachusetts Home Now Need Adoption in Fall River
After over 20 dogs were rescued from a home in Massachusetts, they were delivered to Forever Paws in Fall River. With dozens of animals already under its care, the shelter needs the community’s help finding these special animals permanent homes.
“As you can imagine, (the dogs) are going to need medical care, routine care and will eventually need to be fixed,” the shelter said. “They are also going to need everyday care and supplies.”
As of Tuesday, July 9, those 20-plus dogs joined 22 other dogs in the shelter and seven dogs in foster care, as well as 44 cats in the shelter and 24 in foster care.
The shelter aims to give all needy animals on the SouthCoast a fighting chance, but supplies and funds are running low as its roster of animals seemingly doubled overnight.
“We know it is a difficult time for everyone, but if you can spare anything, it will go a long way for the very difficult journey we are facing,” the shelter said.
