Providence Restaurant’s Fluffy Gourmet Breakfast Sandwiches Are Next-Level
I've officially died and gone to breakfast heaven.
This week I sunk my teeth into the fluffiest breakfast sandwich I've ever had. A fireworks show of flavor hit my tastebuds. I was instantly hooked.
Over on Thayer Street in Providence, Rhode Island, is a small yet mighty chicken spot that just proved it's more than chicken. Yas Chicken has just elevated the breakfast game to new heights and it's all thanks to its new line of breakfast sandwiches.
You can choose from nine different sandwiches (we'll get to that in a second) as long as it's before noon. That's when lunch takes over.
To understand just how delicious these breakfast sandwiches are (yes, I tried them all), you have to admire the buns, baked fresh each day, Yas Chicken makes Japanese milk bread from scratch.
This tedious process takes a full day. The soft and fluffy finished product complements what's in the sandwich. It's the glue for the scrambled eggs and meat.
From the familiar sausage, egg and cheese to something a little more fancy such as a smoked salmon and garlic dill cream cheese breakfast sandwich, there's something for everyone.
There's a BLT option, a sandwich made with guacamole and corn, one with a shrimp cake and spicy mayo and a sweet one with strawberry jam. Customers can choose from nine sandwiches in total.
It was a mighty feast, but my favorite is the Oy Bubba. The combination of the fluffy bread with the savory shrimp cake (like a crab cake) was a beautiful marriage.
Breakfast has leveled up.
