Falmouth Brewery Handing Out Free Breakfast Sandwiches

A Falmouth brewery knows the cost of eggs has you rethinking your morning breakfast sandwich so it decided to help you out.

Bad Martha Beer is a brewery in Falmouth and has quite the history, originally opening a location on Martha's Vineyard back in 2013. Now there are several locations but we want to bring attention to the Falmouth spot.

We can go on and on about the price of eggs but you won't be able to argue with free when you stop in to Bad Martha's on Friday mornings this month.

Every Friday morning in the month of February between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., you can grab a free breakfast sandwich. You are probably thinking, what's the catch? None. Well, other than you have to be a resident of Falmouth and get there between those hours on Friday.

For any small business right now, giving away food, especially menu items that involve eggs, can be extremely costly. I had to get to the bottom of what made them want to do this and how they can manage to offer it.

I spoke with Ralph Young, the general manager of the Bad Martha Falmouth, who has been with this location since it opened back in 2019.

"We have always given back to our community, from hosting artesian markets to helping raise money for our local non profits," he said. "This is just another way we wanted to give back to our Falmouth residents"

Bad Martha recently started its breakfast offerings so this is also a way for the locals to check it out. It may be a creative way to market its latest offerings but it's one I'd happily partake in.

It's pretty admirable for a local small business to have such an offering. Kudos to them and any local business that is trying to help the community while keeping its doors open.
