Fall River’s Pioneering Pink Bean Surprising Store Closing

Fans of Fall River's longstanding Pink Bean Coffee may be surprised to hear that the beloved beverage spot is closing one of their SouthCoast locations.

Just days into the new year, the decade old coffee shop on Purchase Street in Fall River says they are closing for good.

A local pioneer in organic coffee and delicious smoothies, Pink Bean has been beloved for years, even growing to a second location in Somerset.

Now the owners are taking a step back, with hopes of growing bigger and better in the future.

In a recent post on The Pink Bean Coffee (Fall River Store) Facebook page, the owners gave local coffee drinkers the sad news that their Purchase Street location was no longer.

Though they had been serving signature Mojo's as recently as Christmas Eve and despite Google still listing them as "temporarily closed", owners confirmed the original Pink Bean storefront is indeed remaining closed for good.

Don't despair Pink Bean fans, their Slades Ferry Ave spot in Somerset is staying open.

Despite the original local closing for now, Fall River might not be without a Pink Bean forever.

In their FB post about the closing, Pink Bean says they hope to find a larger location to reopen in Fall River in the future.

The Somerset location is a much larger building, with lots of seating, a relaxing koi pond and even an insulated greenhouse. One can only imagine what the owners will try to create if they find the right location once again in Fall River.
