A Fall River favorite will have a grand reopening with plenty of fanfare and tacos at a price that you just can't beat.

New Owners Take Over Tequila Lime Cantina

We learned a few weeks ago that Tequila Lime Cantina in Fall River would switch hands to Nick and Ashley Ozug.

The couple promised to continue to provide patrons with everything they loved while adding some of their personal touches to the restaurant.

Tequila Lime Reopening Date Announced

The grand reopening of Tequila Lime Cantina will take place on Tuesday, March 10. There will be an official ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., with Mayor Paul Coogan and other city officials on hand to celebrate.

What’s Changing on the Menu

The Ozugs made just a couple of changes to the menu.

"We moved on from the previous menu's Italian fusion of the menu and have gone full Tex-Mex cuisine, bringing back the original burritos, nachos, and adding chimichangas as well as a choco taco," Ashley Ozug said.

The Ozugs also own The Brewhouse District and plan on using some of their chorizo and peppers in a Portuguese burrito.

They also made a few minor esthetic changes inside the restaurant that we are curious to see for ourselves. The Ozugs did plan on opening back in February, but the winter weather on the SouthCoast had other plans.

Grand Reopening Celebration Details

To celebrate the grand reopening on Tuesday, Tequila Lime will feature 99 cent tacos all day, starting at 11 a.m. There will also be some live entertainment to bring in the perfect "Taco Tuesday" vibes, with plenty of photo opportunities during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

It's been awhile since I stopped into Tequila Lime, but I know I'm not alone when I say I'll be stopping in to check things out.
