Fall River just had an epic end-of-summer block party at Kennedy Park and we just have to share all the good vibes.

No denying it was a great weather weekend to throw a party and Fall River certainly did. It was a day that that had something for everyone, even backpacks filled with back-to-school necessities.

Hundreds of children and parents were welcomed with resources to help them get energized and informed.

Local agencies including Saint Vincent's Services, Fall River Arts Academy and Artistic Dance Studio were in attendance. The energy was electric all around.

At the same time, a street art festival was going on, making for some great eye candy.

Helio Pacheco from Fall River, who created the murals above, said on Facebook:

"It was fun painting these pieces for watchers going by. I met some cool people, took some cool pics with kids ... and got to paint with some of the best graffiti artists in Providence and Fall River"

With such a successful event this summer, it's a sign that when Kennedy Park opens up its skating rink and first-ever Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights this winter that there will be quite the fanfare.

Oh, and you better believe that planning for next year's summer party at Kennedy Park is already underway.
