Fall River Police Seek Suspects in Shooting
FALL RIVER — Police were called to the area of Pleasant and Thomas Streets at around 10 a.m. Monday on the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 23-year-old man who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.
Using a tourniquet, officers worked to stabilize the victim while the Fall River Fire Department EMS made their way to the location.
The man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he remains in critical condition. His identity has not been released due to the nature of the crime and the ongoing investigation.
Police are now searching for possibly two suspects who fled in a car after the shooting.
