Police said officers responded to the 164 Durfee St. food market at around 10:35 p.m. on Oct. 17 for a reported armed robbery.
A masked man reportedly entered the store with a handgun, demanded money from the clerk, and fled the scene with an unspecified amount of cash.
With help from the state police, the city department's Major Crimes Division identified the main suspect as 37-year-old Nelson Coelho of Fall River.
Coelho was arrested at a Pine Street home yesterday afternoon.
Police said they learned that 42-year-old Samuel Lozano was also involved in the crime, and took him into custody as well.
