A Fall River restaurant owner had a wonderful Easter surprise in the form of a lost parakeet at her front door, and she is trying to find the rightful owner.

A Surprise Discovery on Easter Morning

The lost bird, according to ChatGPT, is an Indian Ringneck parakeet. This is definitely not native to our area, and it is widely known to be kept as a pet.

Susie Amaral, owner of Alianca Platter House, posted about this lost bird on her Facebook page, asking anyone to help find this little bird's rightful owner and home.

Restaurant Staff Step In to Help

The platter house's last status update on the bird was, "It's hanging out in our storage now. Not sure what to do!?! Anybody HELP."

Possible Sighting Raises Questions

Now, it's not an exact match, but earlier in the day on Easter Sunday, Jae Ramos posted a video with a very similar bird perched on his shoulder as his "emotional support birds" at a Dunkin' in New Bedford.

It almost feels like a late April Fools' joke and seems a little too ironic but if anyone knows who the owner of this bird please reach out to Alianca Platter House ASAP.

We will keep you posted. In the meantime, the amazing staff over at the platter house will keep the little guy warm and safe.
