FALL RIVER — A Fall River man is arrested after stealing baby clothes by stuffing them down his pants.

On Saturday, November 25 at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Fall River Police Department's Uniform Division were dispatched to The Rainbow Shop, located at 51 Mariano Bishop Boulevard, in regards to a shoplifter taking baby clothes and stuffing them down his pants.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store manager, who gave the shoplifter the name “Red Bull Bandit." The manager described the male shoplifter as a small Hispanic male, wearing a black sweatshirt and riding a small purple bike with a basket on the front.

Upon hearing the broadcast of the suspect's description, an officer stated he dealt with a male fitting that description, and identified him as 33-year-old Eddie Pagan of Quequechan Street. Officers responded to the area of Quequechan Street, and located Pagan riding the small purple bike with the basket. Pagan was detained. When questioned about the bulge in his pants, police removed five sets of baby clothes with the Rainbow Shop tags still attached.
