
8-Year-Old Girl Adorably Donates $208 to Fall River Animal Shelter
How much is that doggie in the window?
If it was up to eight-year-old Hazel, the cost would be $208. That's how much she raised and donated to the Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

Funds For Fido
Her donation came with a note explaining how she was able to raise the large sum of money for the local animals in need.
"I love animals, thank you for taking care of them. Here is $208 that I made at the sale," the note read.
Hazel’s Creative Fundraising Idea
While many kids held lemonade stands, Hazel took it upon herself to create something different, selling shells and bracelets.

The staff at Forever Paws shared the sweet gesture on the shelter's Facebook page, thanking the young girl for her donation.

"Thank you so much, Hazel, you are an amazing little girl and the world is so lucky to have someone like you in it," the shelter posted.

Forever Paws Animal Shelter works hard to find new homes for pets that are rescued, abandoned or can no longer be cared for by their previous owners.
