Fall River Getting New Mexican To-Go Option at Fiesta Taqueria
Fall River is about to get another Mexican to-go option -- and from a local brand many know.
Fiesta Mexican Taqueria has placed a "coming soon" sign in the window of 362 South Main St. It seems the sit-down restaurant with locations in Somerset, Dartmouth and elsewhere in Fall River, among other spots throughout southeastern Massachusetts, is ready to introduce an express taqueria option to the city.
Fiesta already operates a similar taqueria in Bridgewater. The menu there boasts quickly made tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, nachos and street corn, along with chips, salsa and guacamole.
The family-owned Fiesta opened in 2006 and in its expansion over the years has received thousands of positive reviews online, so they are clearly doing something right. Its latest express venture will now compete with other Mexican options in the city, including chains Qdoba at SouthCoast Marketplace and Chipotle across the street.
We reached out for comment to learn when exactly the Fall River taqueria is planned to open. We'll keep you posted. In the mean time, there are always Fiesta's sit-down locations.
