Fall River Pool Hall Catches Another 8 Ball Theft Incident On Camera
Just when you thought the case of Fall River’s viral “8-Ball Bandit” was officially closed, somehow, someway, the story has a sequel. It also happened at the same exact place.
Straight Shooters Family Billiards on Front Street is once again at the center of a bizarre situation after another attempted billiards ball heist went down on Thursday, April 16, just after 8 p.m.
You really can’t make this stuff up.
Same Spot, Same Ball, New Suspects
According to the now very familiar security camera setup (which at this point deserves its own Employee of the Month award), two younger women were spotted at the bar area. It's apparent that they were up to no good. Straight Shooters posted the video on its Facebook page.
At one point, one of the women reached over and grabbed a ball. Initially, it was the striped orange 13-ball, before she had an apparent change of heart and swapped it out for the now-infamous 8-ball.
Not stopping there, she also picked up the cue ball, while the other woman lingered nearby, briefly appearing to consider messing with the tip jar before wisely deciding against it.
Not So Fast, Ladies
Before things could spiral into another viral moment like the first incident, it seems reality (or maybe déjà vu) kicked in pretty quickly.
With the same camera that helped expose the original 8-Ball Bandit likely living rent-free in their minds, the two women ultimately returned both balls back to the bar before heading out.
Fun and Games, But Let’s Be Real
Look, it’s easy to laugh at how oddly specific this has become, but it’s also a good reminder that what might seem like a joke can still cross the line.

Straight Shooters has handled both situations without having to call the authorities, but at the end of the day, it’s still their property that was taken from them. I will say though, that if this turns into a trilogy, they might need to start a Wall of Shame.
The Legend of the 8-Ball Lives On
For now, the 8-ball (and cue ball) remains safely back where it belongs, but if you’re thinking about pulling a stunt like these three stooges already did, you might want to reconsider.
After all, that security camera is undefeated with a 2-0 record.
