It took forever for summer to get here and now that it's arrived, I have a feeling it's going to be a VERY hot one.

I know we live near the ocean but some of us (me) don't really like the "sand experience" and would much prefer going to a park.

Edaville Family Theme Park was already a pretty awesome place for family fun, and with this added attraction, they may have me as a daily visitor.

They just announced a new splash pad at the park. My first thought was, where did they put it? But they have been expanding the footprint of the park quite a bit in recent years, so it just keeps getting bigger and better.

According to a press release sent out by Edaville Family Theme Park:

"Edaville’s Carribean-beach themed Splash Pad offers guests of all ages a chance for a quick cool off, while the kids splash around, parents can enjoy relaxation under the umbrellas on the sandy beach or grassy areas around the splash pad. The splash pad features an array of sea life including seahorses, a turtle and a fish that squirt water, larger flipping buckets full of water for a total cool down, and shooting water spouts throughout!"

Nancy Bailey is the Assistant Manager, of Edaville Family Theme Park, which is located in Carver, just minutes from Plymouth. She said the endeavor has been in the making for years.

“We knew a water attraction was needed, especially on very hot days. Our guests suggested a splash pad, and here we are with our Carribean-style splash pad that kids and adults of all ages love,” Nancy said.

So who is excited for this?!  I totally am and will definitely be hitting it up in the coming weeks! And don't forget, Edaville Family Theme Park is now open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
