Even after Eastham officials asked residents to stay off the roads so plows could finish cleaning up from Sunday and Monday’s snowstorm, it turns out not everyone got the memo.

Eastham Police Department shared a photo that instantly cracked people up: a full-on flock of turkeys casually strutting down a snowy roadway, clearly unconcerned with the police department's requests, winter driving conditions, or basic traffic etiquette.

“Apparently not everyone is following our request to stay off the roads.” Eastham Police clapped back on the post and honestly? Fair.

While drivers were being urged to avoid unnecessary travel so plows could do their job, these feathered locals appeared to be doing a little post-storm sightseeing of their own. Talk about going cold turkey on winter safety rules.

When Traffic Goes Totally Fowl

To be fair, turkeys are no strangers to Massachusetts roadways, but seeing a full squad confidently occupying an icy street was a reminder that nature truly does what it wants. If anything, they seemed to be supervising the cleanup, silently judging the plow work.

Listen, in the end- the moment was harmless, innocent, and downright hilarious — a perfect reminder that not every “road violation” needs a citation.
