Heartfelt Thanks

"I want to thank the Town of Middleboro for approving my project, Matt Foye for being patient and Sherri Swindle for always having my back. And everyone that helped me through this process," Cash said.

The local shelter expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture on its Facebook page:

"We appreciate all your hard work and your efforts in helping the shelter."

Cash was very grateful to his previous troops who were part of his journey toward Eagle Scout: Troop 39 Wareham, Troop 32 Marion, Troop 20 Middleboro, and lastly, Troop 31 Rochester.

Why Middleboro?

"I did my project in Middleboro because I wanted to keep a promise I made to myself," Casey wrote. "When my brother did his project at the Oliver Estate, I promised I would do my project in Middleboro."
