The Red Sox have officially upped the victory parade game in Massachusetts with a live performance from the Dropkick Murphys.

Yes, the Celtic punk band is joining the team on the duck boats Wednesday to perform while the parade is en route.

Things are kicking off Halloween morning at 11 a.m. from Fenway Park and aboard the very first duck boat will be the band.

According to the band's twitter (which had plenty of parade posts on Tuesday), team manager Alex Cora came up with the idea to add a band to the celebratory parade.

They tweeted throughout the series as well, routing on their Sox, so it's no surprise they are very excited to be a part of the big moment.

Take note Patriots, Bruins and Celtics...future championship teams out of Boston are definitely going to have a lot to live up to now.
