Detours On Route 88 In Westport To Begin In April

Detours will begin on Route 88 in Wesport later this month and could last for three months.

MassDOT reports that construction on the bridge carrying Route 88 over Route 177 will cause detours for drivers throughout the spring.

Traffic will be diverted from the area for up to three months as resurfacing and other work take place on Route 88.

The detours will start on April 24th.

Work hours are scheduled for off hours, Sunday through Wednesday 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
