Delays Expected As The Braga Bridge Undergoes Work This Weekend

Use caution when traveling East and West-Bound towards and on the Braga Bridge this weekend. 

According to Southcoast Today, the Massachusetts Deportment of Transportation will be continuing the ongoing construction work in West-End Fall River surrounding the Braga Bridge.

Perhaps it's safe to seek alternate routes as Intestate 195 East and West Bound will be shutting down the left high-speed lane during the following dates and times:

April 1st and 2nd = Friday Night @ 8:00 PM - Saturday Morning @ 11:00 AM

April 2nd and 3rd = Saturday Night @ 8:00 PM - Sunday Morning @ 11:00 AM

April 3rd and 4th = Sunday Night @ 8:00 PM - Monday Morning @ 6:00 AM

Lane closure will be taking place between Exit 5 Eastbound and the Braga Bridge. Alternate routes are encouraged until Monday after 6:00 AM.

The project will begin the construction of an overhead ramp by utilizing the closed left lane to install the steel frame.
