Dartmouth Teacher Recognized for Her Big Heart & Efforts in Inclusion [TEACHER OF THE MONTH]

Mrs. Christine Fistori is a pre-kindergarten teacher at Cushman School in Dartmouth, and thanks to her big heart and hard work, she is Fun 107’s Teacher of the Month.

Here's what nominator Heather Pimentel had to say about her daughter's teacher:

Christine teaches an integrated pre-k class that my daughter, Rhea, is in. My daughter has 8 assessments alone and I would like to commend Christine on the ability to manage them and how she is able to bring inclusion to all the kiddos in the classroom on an IEP. My daughter is non-verbal and Christine is always kind, encouraging and loves seeing her progress. Christine is an asset to an integrated classroom and every school should have a Christine.

It's incredibly important for all students of all levels to feel included and appreciated. Mrs. Fistori is not in it for the praise, but her efforts certainly do not go unnoticed.
