DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — A Dartmouth school bus with students onboard was rear-ended in a crash this morning on Slocum Road.

According to Dartmouth Police, officers and emergency personnel responded at about 7:30 a.m. to Slocum Road near Dartmouth Middle School for a report of a school bus and motor vehicle involved in a crash.

It was determined that a 2009 Suzuki SX4 had rear-ended a school bus transporting students. The driver of the Suzuki was a 21-year-old man from Everett who has not been identified at this time.

Police said they do expect the man to be cited in the crash.

The driver of the Suzuki and the driver of the school bus were both transported to St. Luke’s Hospital with minor injuries, police said. They also said that no students reported being injured in the crash.

Police said the crash remains under investigation.
