‘Chateau-Inspired’ Dartmouth Home Boasts Balconies and River Views
A unique home just went up for sale in North Dartmouth and it might not be as expensive as you think it is.
Price, of course, is relative, but for a young successful couple, this home isn't too far out of reach.
Maybe I'm having "house fever" because right now the interest rates are making it challenging for any of us to get into homes, never mind a home like this. It's definitely a case of "I want what I can't have" here.
So, what makes this $899,000 home so special that we had to write about it?
Let's start with the location.
It's quaint, close to the Paskamansett River at the end of Tolland Path, which is located off Hathaway Road. You can have your peace and space and still walk over to a neighbor's house to ask for sugar.
It also comes with a garage which, as we know with our SouthCoast winters, is a must for folks who hate wiping snow and ice off their cars.
The clean features inside this house, though, are amazing: barn doors that open to the master bedroom, several balconies to take in incredible views with a glass of wine, and quartz countertops, the kind you only hear about in the fancy remodel shows.
This "chateau-inspired" place has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a finished basement.
The best part about this home is it's not in the millions like you would assume it would be. Although it's pretty darn close. I have a feeling this home won't last long on the market. You have to see some of the amazing pictures of this place, right in our backyard. Check them out below.
If you buy it, can I come to stay on the weekends? I make a great house guest, I swear. I've got plenty of wine.
