Dartmouth Doctor to Send Extra Halloween Candy Overseas to Troops
Do you have extra Halloween candy that you just don’t know what to do with? Or you can’t eat it because of your braces? Instead of throwing it away or ruining your coworker's diet by bringing it to the office, how about you consider donating it to troops overseas? Our soldiers will certainly appreciate the kind gesture.
Baarsvik Souza Orthodontics in Dartmouth has teamed up with Operation Gratitude and are donating candy and other goods to the troops overseas. They're asking for help to collect the items.
Jauna Souza explained to us why they wanted to get involved with Operation Gratitude.
This program has been near and dear to our hearts. Many of us have family and friends overseas. Not only is there candy in the care packages but toothbrushes, floss, etc. Soldiers will actually hand out items to children in the communities that they are patrolling. It's a great fundraiser to give back to our military that protects us every day.
Baarsvik Souza Orthodontics is located at 1403 Tucker Road, Dartmouth. The office phone number is (508) 990-1499. They are open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and on Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm.
